3 Steps To Personal Financial Mastery
Most of us wake up each morning and toil at our job to make a respectable income at the end of the month. With all that’s going on around us, it’s easy to let loose and ultimately find yourself in a position where your finances are in a shamble. This may be because of factors beyond your control, such as retrenchments or recessions, or, it could very well be something that was in your control. In order to insulate against factors beyond our control, it is important to learn how to handle your money on the days while it is still plentiful. Effective, personal financial management is the combination of understanding where you stand financially, saving some of this money for a rainy day, and having the confidence to make the correct decisions that will empower you. If you want to reduce your stress and anxiety over your finances, following these three steps can help you gain better control: Make your cashflow your priority Cashflow is the downfall for many people and businesses alike; losing control over this is a sure way to land yourself in hot water. Managing your cash flow to ensure savings is simple – spend less money each month than you earn. This means knowing exactly how much is coming into and out of your bank account each month. By not knowing this you open yourself up to high levels of stress and anxiety when the bills come in. Don’t make the common mistake of forgetting bills that are not monthly but rather quarterly or annually such as taxes and ensure you save cash flow for when these expenditures arise. Remember that there are only three ways in which you can fix a cash flow shortage: 1) earn more, 2) spend less or 3) a mixture of 1 and 2. Set short, medium, and long-term goals If you don’t get real with yourself and think about what you want to accomplish, then how will you ever achieve it? Think big and set goals that make you excited about saving money. The most common goals are to pay off debt, set up a nest egg for your family's future, and building a passive income stream that will bolster your finances. Although these goals are admirable, they should be more specific and follow the SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely) format. If you are saving for retirement your goal should include the age you want to retire, how much you will need to contribute to your retirement savings each year as per your income, and should be measured on an annual basis to see if you're still on track. Goals can be realistically set up and monitored with the help of a financial planner to ensure you stay on track. While on the lookout for ways I could achieve some of my medium and long-term goals, I got introduced to the Mirror Trading International opportunity. The company allowed me to get involved and start benefiting from the strides that Bitcoin was making on the market. I won’t lie, it did take an equal measure of hard work to build my portfolio and also extend my network to take advantage of their optional referral program. Research, research, research Many individuals are not even aware of what their investment options are. There is a big difference between GICs and stocks, mutual funds, and digital assets. There are many pros and cons to each type of investment, not to mention a varying level of risk and opportunity. When investing, ensure you do your due diligence to make better investment decisions that better impact your life and financial goals. Whilst there was a lot of uncertainty when it comes to Bitcoin, my research actually allayed my fears and I began to understand Bitcoin for what it really is. I implore everyone to do their own research when evaluating opportunities to invest in Bitcoin. In many cases, individuals get so stressed over their daily monetary situation that they forget to look at their overall financial situation. It’s not as complicated as many believe to set yourself up for a healthy financial future. Being in control is merely having awareness and taking action to achieve your goals. So, stop waiting for your situation to change and instead take control to change it yourself.
Where are they NOW? The 'bitcoin investor'. https://preview.redd.it/5ywzzhtp9fn21.png?width=479&format=png&auto=webp&s=5f9511b8fc30dec02f36c3587b694f351c24d8eb In November 2017, Perth was gripped by Bitcoin fever. Not one to miss out on a get rich quick scheme, Dawren made the ultimate sacrifice, he sold his Hi-Lux and bought 1 bitcoin for $7,300. In just one month, Dawren’s investment had reached an astronomical $19k, shit was about to get real. After telling all his supervisors to suck his dick in the crib room, Dawren quit his well paying FIFO gig to focus on being a cryptoboss. Being 100% sure the price of BTC would hit $50k in a few months, Dawren upgraded his lifestyle - he leased an entry-level Mercedes, he bought BCOIN007 personalised plates and a proudly rocked a 9ct gold chain from Zamels. He had it all. He was quick to embrace his new identity as a swaggering fuckhead that dished out unsolicited investment advice on social media, after all, he had climbed the beanstalk of financial freedom and he had slain the giant nagging doubt that this was all too good to be true. As several of his baby-mummas can testify to, Dawren was never one to pull out, and ultimately that would be his downfall. Instead of selling his crypto at the peaks of its value, he held onto it as desperately as Goerge Pell with a new bar of soap in the shower. By February 2018, he was back in the red, but repayments on an entry level Mercedes and an Afterpaid trip to Bali weren’t going to just disappear. So he channelled the spirit of the crypto-lord and did what they did best, bought $6000 worth of gear on the dark web. He went from the tattooed-foot investor to just a criminal overnight and used the illusion of his success to trick the dumbest cunts from his past life into giving him money to invest in more “crypto” (meth). Sure, he’d just let a crackhead suck him off to settle the money owing on a point, but they didn’t know that - all they saw was the glamour. As it turns out, he wasn’t very good at selling meth either, within 2months things went south for the former $10,000-aire, and after trying to flog an 8ball to an undercover officer at Rockingham station, Dawren landed himself a little stretch at Hotel Hakea. From "large and in charge" to "charged and convicted", he had a wild ride. When asked if Dawren had any regrets, he told us, “the meth, probably”. ~ All credit to the amazing Bell Tower Times, Western Australia.
I've been a long time avid Redditor, and I guess I taught religion at the school the founder of Reddit went to a long time ago, I was one of the teachers and maybe even go to teach him! Reddit is much like the original threads on craigslist, and reminds me of how myspace was its precursor. I ended up becoming atheist reading and arguing on the atheist thread there. It was such a refreshing uncensored way of getting other people's opinions. I love how Reddit took over and has so many interesting subs you could never even dream of, with adorable kittens, and the promotion and evolution of the meme. However, I've noticed and I wonder if others have noticed that perhaps it's because of censorship of the mods on each sub with their own agenda and rules, the momentum of the hive mind, but the whole of Reddit has seem to have become incredibly polarizing and censored. Here are some examples: Juxtaposition land: politics vs. The_Donald, the former seeks to solely trash Donald or anything non democratic, when it's under the spurious name of "politics" and the later seems to be run by the cronies of Putin in Russia. The subs of myopia: investing we could summarize as anti Bitcoin zero interest rate etf lemmings lead by Warren Buffett It would be interesting to debunk and expose all the subs of reddit and this behavior. It would be interesting to see a censorless decentralized 'reddit'. Has anyone considered building something like this? I remember seeing Digg's downfall and called it out as soon as I saw my posts being censored. I want to say that was part of the main reasons for it's collapse and ceding to Reddit
Not your average Q Anon thread: Psy-ops, Zionists, Aliens; a true rabbit hole.
I've long suspected & now conclude that #QAnon is a psy-op. In fact, it is. That's fact. It is obviously a psychological operation. The question is - what motives are behind it? Many think this will save us. I don't. Here's why. Q claims Saudi Arabia, Rothschild's & Soros = NWO, the 'trifecta' of the pyramid. BULLSHIT. If you've researched the new world ordecabal, you should know that Zionism is central to it. Many researchers have exposed this for years – David Icke, Fritz Springmeier, Henry Makow, to name a few. Recent JFK leaks prove Zionists were in on the JFK hit (the day America ceased to exist, according to many). Christopher Bollyn 'the man who solved 9/11' proved that Zionists were behind 9/11. JFK: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUJwaJ6VQAQGaa4.jpg:large Christopher Bollyn – solving 9/11: https://youtu.be/qOq-LbQ4erM The US has been infiltrated by Zionists/Israel & USED. This is blatantly obvious by Trump's foreign policy decisions re: the middle east. Iran is the last threat to Zionist expansion still standing. War with Iran seems inevitable. Jake Morphonios over at Blackstone Intelligence Network on youtube explains why/how: https://youtu.be/wXwBWJYveV4 Trump even stated that he wanted to be 'the most pro-Israel president'. Why? Israel has repeatedly attacked the United States, covertly. Let us not forget this episode as well: http://www.globalresearch.ca/uss-liberty-attacked-by-israel-47-years-ago-the-u-s-left-soldiers-behind/5386247?print=1 There’s his long-standing ties to ultra-Zionist Sheldon Adelson to consider and then that the Kushner's are also longtime Zionists and even fund illegal settlements & Israeli extremists. So there's really no doubt whatsoever that there's Zionists in the White House. https://geopolitics.co/2017/04/28/trumps-son-in-law-financed-israeli-extremists-and-settlements/ Even leaving aside Israeli atrocities against the people of Palestine, what we are seeing take place blatantly follows the 'Which Path To Persia?' plan. https://www.brookings.edu/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/06_iran_strategy.pdf This benefits Zionist Isreal. Don't you find it rather odd, therefore, that Q Anon is highlighting ABSOLUTELY NONE of Israel's involvement in terrorism? ISIS are right on the border of Israel & alleged 'Islamic extremists'. Why then do they NEVER attack Israel? THINK Israel's involved in creation of almost every terror group in the middle east. Israel basically is a terrorist state. This is laid bare in the book 'Israel's Sacred Terrorism', Bollyn's 9/11 research, & comments by many Jews, both high ranking Israeli officials & their relatives, as well as other groups - Moshe & Yael Dayan, Miko Peled, Gush Shalom & others https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DS0EMxfVQAE4MYK.jpg:large REAL Jews know this & protest against Israeli Zionists, the AshkeNAZI infiltrators of Judaism. 'Behold I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews but are not, but do lie' (Revelations 3:9) https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DS0ERdhVwAA1nu3.jpg:large Recently there was a changed stance on Syria, which once again seems to support the agenda for Zionist expansion and the creation of ‘Eretz Israel’. https://www.rt.com/usa/416238-syria-tillerson-policy-obama/?utm_source=browser&utm_medium=aplication_chrome&utm_campaign=chrome#.WmAartkc4LQ.twitter I have scoured Q Anon's posts & found NOTHING that addresses PROVEN Zionist terrorism, control & manipulation. The overall Q narrative in fact supports Zionist aims. For this reason, I believe Q Anon phenomenon is in fact a Zionist psychological operation. Israel is only mentioned by Q with regards to Rothschild central banks. Neither Netanyahu nor any prior Israeli leaders are mentioned. Mossad is also omitted, which is suspicious as all hell. Next I would like to talk about The Protocols of Zion. If you’re one of these people who believe the ‘it’s a forged/plagiarized piece of anti-Semitic propaganda’ claims, I direct you to the thorough debunking of those claims by Henry Makow in his book Illuminati: The Cult That Hijacked The World, which I will include as the first comment to this post. Consider some of what The Protocols of Zion state, which relates heavily to the corruption purges we are seeing. I'm not saying Pedogate & corruption aren't real. But what if those are the 'presidential stain' the Protocols speak of? Here's a few excerpts that I think really sum things up...
In the near future we shall establish the responsibility of presidents. By that time we shall be in a position to disregard forms in carrying through matters for which our impersonal puppet will be responsible. What do we care of the ranks of those striving for power should be thinned, if there should arise a deadlock from the impossibility of finding presidents, a deadlock which will finally disorganize the country? In order that our scheme may produce this result we shall arrange elections in favour of such presidents as have in their past some dark, undiscovered stain, some "Panama" or other -- then they will be trustworthy agents for the accomplishment of our plans out of fear of revelations and from the natural desire of everyone who has attained power, namely, the retention of the privileges, advantages and honour connected with the office of president. The chamber of deputies will provide cover for, will protect, will elect presidents, but we shall take from it the right to propose new, or make changes in existing laws, for this right will be given by us to the responsible president, a puppet in our hands. Naturally, the authority of the president will then become a target for every possible form of attack, but we shall provide him with a means of self-defense in the right of an appeal to the people, for the decision of the people over the heads of their representatives, that is to say, an appeal to that same blind slave of ours -- the majority of the mob.
What if the reason the elite pedos & corrupt psychos are in fact being thrown to the fire? What if the point was always to expose it? Pedogate has the potential to tear down the global establishments in politics, media and religion.
It is from us that the all-engulfing terror proceeds. We have in our service persons of all opinions, of all doctrines, restorating monarchists, demagogues, socialists, communists, and utopian dreamers of every kind. We have harnessed them all to the task: each one of them on his own account is boring away at the last remnants of authority, is striving to overthrow all established form of order. By these acts all States are in torture; they exhort to tranquility, are ready to sacrifice everything for peace: but we will not give them peace until they openly acknowledge our international Super-Government, and with submissiveness. The people have raised a howl about the necessity of settling the question of Socialism by way of an international agreement. Division into fractional parties has given them into our hands, for, in order to carry on a contested struggle one must have money, and the money is all in our hands.
The money is all in whose hands, and was even in 1903? Rothschild’s. Who controls the press? Rothschild’s. Has done since the mid 19th century (Reuters established mid 1800s). To say nothing of ALL the other Zionist control over the news media.
The words of the liberal, which are in effect the words of our masonic watchword, namely, "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity," will, when we come into our kingdom, be changed by us into words no longer of a watchword, but only an expression of idealism, namely, into: "The right of liberty, the duty of equality, the ideal of brotherhood." That is how we shall put it, -- and so we shall catch the bull by the horns. .... De facto we have already wiped out every kind of rule except our own, although de jure there still remain a good many of them. Nowadays, if any States raise a protest against us it is only pro forma at our discretion and by our direction, for their anti-Semitism is indispensable to us for the management of our lesser brethren. I will not enter into further explanations, for this matter has formed the subject of repeated discussions amongst us. For us there are no checks to limit the range of our activity. Our Super-Government subsists in extra legal conditions which are described in the accepted terminology by the energetic and forcible word -- Dictatorship. I am in a position to tell you with a clear conscience that at the proper time we, the lawgivers, shall execute judgement and sentence, we shall slay and we shall spare, we, as head of all our troops, are mounted on the steed of the leader. We rule by force of will, because in our hands are the fragments of a once powerful party, now vanquished by us. And the weapons in our hands are limitless ambitions, burning greediness, merciless vengeance, hatreds and malice.
And one more...
What form of administrative rule can be given to communities in which corruption has penetrated everywhere, communities where riches are attained only by the clever surprise tactics of semi-swindling tricks; where looseness reigns: where morality is maintained by penal measures and harsh laws but not by voluntarily accepted principles: where the feelings toward faith and country are obliterated by cosmopolitan convictions? What form of rule is to be given to these communities if not that despotism which I shall describe to you later? We shall create an intensified centralization of government in order to grip in [our] hands all the forces of the community. We shall regulate mechanically all the actions of the political life of our subjects by new laws. These laws will withdraw one by one all the indulgences and liberties which have been permitted by the goyim, and our kingdom will be distinguished by a despotism of such magnificent proportions as to be at any moment and in every place in a position to wipe out any goyim who oppose us by deed or word.
The Protocols mention control of gold, engineering the French Revolution, and controlling all of the money supply. "Give me control of a nation's money supply, and I care not who makes its laws," - Mayer Amschel Rothschild Bear in mind that the Rothschild's created Israel. So how in the hell do people still believe Q's narrative that the Cabal is being taken down, with so much brazen & blatant support, aid, encouragement coming from the US government to Israel? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kj5eypBex-U What if the 'mass arrests' of elite pedos & corrupt criminals triggers a world-wide chain reaction of similar purges? What if the world is plunged into war - Iran & North Korea, as Jake Morphonios at Blackstone Intelligence Network outlined, could lead to two theaters of war? WWIII –just as Albert Pike planned it in his ‘Three World Wars’ plan? Pike of course was a leading Freemason. Freemasonry = Jewry for gentiles. What if the economy crashes majorly around the same time as all this? The Protocols of Zion basically allow for all of these scenarios - in fact, they're BANKING on them. What if all this corruption & depravity was by-design, to engineer the downfall of national governments allowing for the implementation of a 'new order'? The Rockefeller Reports were discussing a 'new world order' as early as the 1950s. The UN = the 'super-government' the Protocols speak of. https://youtu.be/NHGm49hhOmw Economic uncertainties ahead in 2018. Could this be the big crash that the Protocols speak of? A crash that tears down currencies across the globe and results in the implementation of a global digital currency? Hmmm... https://www.rt.com/business/415199-bitcoin-housing-deutsche-bank/?utm_source=browser&utm_medium=aplication_chrome&utm_campaign=chrome Frankly, I’ve long felt that crypto-currencies are bad news. Bitcoin was the first big one and really set the ball in motion. Consider that nobody knows who created it. Consider that the NSA designed models for crypto-currency in the 1996: http://groups.csail.mit.edu/mac/classes/6.805/articles/money/nsamint/nsamint.htm Consider that there are even now people coming out of the wood work to say the CIA is behind crypto’s: https://geopolitics.co/2018/01/20/bitcoin-is-us-dollar-2-0-created-by-cia-kaspersky-co-founde I think crypto-currency was always going to lead to the implementation of a global digital currency. The Protocols even speak of an engineered global coups d'etat & a massive purge of the secret societies & agentur that helped them achieve their final goal. They state that they will throw all the corrupt tools who helped them take over the world into the fire.
When we at last definitely come into our kingdom by the aid of coups d'etat prepared everywhere for one and the same day, after the worthlessness of all existing forms of government has been definitely acknowledged (and not a little time will pass before that comes about, perhaps even a whole century) we shall make it our task to see that against us such things as plots shall no longer exist. With this purpose we shall slay without mercy all who take arms (in hand) to oppose our coming into our kingdom. Every kind of new institution of anything like a secret society will also be punished with death; those of them which are now in existence, are known to us, serve us and have served us, we shall disband and send into exile to continents far removed from Europe. In this way we shall proceed with those GOY masons who know too much; such of these as we may for some reason spare will be kept in constant fear of exile. We shall promulgate a law making all former members of secret societies liable to exile from Europe as the centre of our rule. Resolutions of our government will be final, without appeal.
So again. How does the narrative of Q not indicate to you that the end is near? That the 'storm' is the take over? While you're all 'following the white rabbit', they're drawing their plans against us. Q is a Zionist psy-op to keep you gnawing on a bone while 'they' win. Q has even indicated that upon the mass arrest scenario, martial law would be rolled out. And people who have joined the Q cult train go ‘YAY’? They are witnessing the foundation of excuses being laid for the own rule by martial law, and at what point will that end? Once they have it in place, we are at their mercy. I think they will use pedogate to justify total, 100%, round the clock tracking and surveillance of EVERYONE. It will be the roll out of the smartgrid, the internet of things. To monitor every move or expenditure you make. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tn4P7IBqoQ A total control grid... The governments will be destroyed & massive amounts of power consolidated globally. Agenda 21 & 2030. They will crash the economy & bring in a global digital currency, probably the RFID chips as well. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DS0LSbuV4AA-5_r.jpg:large Meanwhile, as per the 'rod and ring prophecy' the 'star will gorge itself on clay'. Eretz Israel will soon be created as the seat of power, the 'kingdom' the the Protocols speak of. Trump will be hailed as the savior of the Jewish people, fulfiller of biblical prophecy. He will judge harshly all of the corrupt agents & secret socities & engage in the purge that births the global coups d'etat. Perhaps that's why he was shown on the Judgement card of the Economist 2017 cover? 'The storm' began in 2017... https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DS0L8LpVQAAJHIQ.jpg:large But what if 'the storm' is not what we think it is? What if we are being led stray? By exclusion of many facts, Q Anon has shown himself to be a Zionist. What if the plans laid centuries ago by the 'Elders of Zion' are the real end game of Q's narrative? "Expand your thinking" says #QAnon - but not in any direction that includes Zionist Israel in the sickness that has engulfed the planet. Yahweh forbids it!! Consider, too, the degree to which extraterrestrial reality has figured in the Q phenomenon. Then think about what Rabbi Laitman said... https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DS0PxcbVwAAYIJ4.jpg:large i am not an anti-Semite, and I'm NOT about trying to be divisive. It's about truth. Truth is all I've ever cared about. I'm drawing peoples' attention to a myriad of facts that Q excludes from the narrative & by that exclusion diverts truth seekers away from the truth towards a therefore bottomless rabbit hole. I believe we are all one. The Ra Material forms a basis of my philosophical thinking. However in order to arrive at a scenario in which we can come together as one, we must first be free of the Cabal's manipulation. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DS0WibsV4AAl9FM.jpg:large But in thinking about the extraterrestrial elements that are figuring in all this – some even believe there WAS a missile launch against Hawaii and that it was prevented by extraterrestrials of some description. But consider what the Law of One says about Jesus in this excerpt, and what it suggests about Judaism…
Questioner: When Jesus of Nazareth incarnated was there an attempt by the Orion group to discredit him in some way? Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. Questioner: Can you tell me what the Orion group did in order to try to cause his downfall? Ra: I am Ra. We may describe in general what occurred. The technique was that of building upon other negatively oriented information. This information had been given by the one whom your peoples called “Yahweh.” This information involved many strictures upon behavior and promised power of the third-density, service-to-self nature. These two types of distortions were impressed upon those already oriented to think these thought-forms. This eventually led to many challenges of the entity known as Jesus. It eventually led to one, sound vibration complex “Judas,” as you call this entity, who believed that it was doing the appropriate thing in bringing about or forcing upon the one you call Jesus the necessity for bringing in the third-density planetary power distortion of third-density rule over others. This entity, Judas, felt that, if pushed into a corner, the entity you call Jesus would then be able to see the wisdom of using the power of intelligent infinity in order to rule others. The one you call Judas was mistaken in this estimation of the reaction of the entity, Jesus, whose teach/learning was not oriented towards this distortion. This resulted in the destruction of the bodily complex of the one known as Jesus to you.
The ‘Orion group’ mentioned, by the way, seems most likely to be the Draco reptilians. What has secret space program whistle blower Corey Goode said repeatedly about the Draco? They are in league with the Cabal. David Icke has been making the connection between the elite Cabal and negative reptilian forces for decades now. Here the Ra material even talks about the ‘Diaspora’.
Questioner: Could you tell me why the Orion group had to leave after, I believe, it figures to be a six-hundred-year period, why they had to vacate? Ra: I am Ra. Although the impression that they had given to those who called them [was] that these entities were an elite group, that which you know as “Diaspora” occurred, causing much dispersion of these peoples so that they became an humbler and more honorable breed, less bellicose and more aware of the loving-kindness of the One Creator. The creation about them tended towards being somewhat bellicose, somewhat oriented towards the enslavement of others, but they themselves, the target of the Orion group by means of their genetic superiority/weakness, became what you may call the underdogs, thereby letting the feelings of gratitude for their neighbors, their family, and their One Creator begin to heal the feelings of elitism which led to the distortions of power over others which had caused their own bellicosity. Questioner: You stated that about 3,000 years ago the Orion group left due to Diaspora. Was the Confederation then able to make any progress after the Orion group left? Ra: I am Ra. For many of your centuries, both the Confederation and the Orion Confederation busied themselves with each other upon planes above your own, shall we say, planes in time/space whereby machinations were conceived and the armor of light girded on. Battles have been and are continuing to be fought upon these levels.
So, it would seem that the Jews, even as far back as the 3000 year old beginnings of humanities enslavement, were in league with the Draco. Don’t know about others, but I tend towards the theory that everything we think of as Gods, Angels, Demons, are simply extraterrestrials and interdimensional entities. Yahweh, the Law of One holds, was a negative entity. Could it possibly have been one of the Archons that the Gnostics were speaking of and that David Icke has thoroughly talked about over the years? He’s even connected Archons to Reptilians? I worry that where Q's narrative is going will only further entrap us & enslave us to the cabal's world order, that it will lead to further control of us by the Archons. The white rabbit is supposed to free us from the Matrix. I worry that Q's white rabbit is leading us deeper. In an October 29 post, Q stated:
Notice that he doesn’t actually indicate exactly who controls the presidency. The way this is phrased is sneaky. I believe he’s indicating that Trump is controlled and my guess would be that it’s by Zionists. I suspect that Q is an extension of this, a psy-op to keep people distracted while plans proceed, to direct peoples’ attention to some information and divert them from other information. These directions and diversions are designed steer the collective consciousness to manifesting the desired the take-downs, whilst leaving other players on the chess board intact. I believe what we are witnessing is different Cabal factions fighting it out and in the end I think it will lead to the creation of Greater Israel which, given the extraterrestrial connections that seem to be apparent with Jewish Zionists and elites, could be leading us to the Christian ‘second coming’ & the Jewish ‘first’. Eretz Israel encompasses all of the important land from biblical times and the earliest civilizations, when extraterrestrials were active on the planet beginning their genetic programs and manipulations of the human population. David Icke has talked a lot about the emergence of the post-cataclysm societies and the ‘new psyche’ that emerged – from indo-European and Semitic peoples. I would assert that this ‘new psyche’/reptilian brain scenario is due to the manipulation of our DNA by reptilians. I’d also venture that it’s interesting that they’re now talking about alien viruses killing us all off: https://www.rt.com/news/416548-alien-virus-space-study/?utm_source=browser&utm_medium=aplication_chrome&utm_campaign=chrome This is in line with much of the predictive programming being done in the new X Files seasons, and would be an obvious preparation for, upon the establishment of Eretz Israel – the long held goal of the Zionists – the colonization of the planet by extraterrestrial forces, the ‘Archons’ that David Icke has long said seek to change this planet to suit their own needs. The existence of ET bases in the middle east is not unusual, of course. Expolitical perspective on the pre-emptive war in Iraq: http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/exopolitica/esp_exopolitics_A_0.htm The entire middle eastern and northern African region seems to have had an extraterrestrial presence throughout earlier civilizations. Think ancient. Sumeria, Babylon, Egypt... But let’s get back to Q before I wrap this mother up. The so-called ‘proofs’ of Q can be found on CBTS sub. But frankly, I think quite a few of their ‘proofs’ are tenuous at best. They ‘prove’ very little, actually. If anything, I think they do seem to suggest that Q Anon is a legitimate insider with access to Trump, and high level intel. However that doesn’t prove ANYTHING about intentions. If what I’m saying is true, all of the ‘proofs’ could be explained as part of the psy-op, couldn’t they? Consider all this and do some digging to add to it. I'll just leave you all with a couple more points. On Jan 14 Q Anon made reference to Jeremiah 29:11. According to the bible I’m holding in my hand that reads:
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end".
What might this be trying to tell us? Sounds good doesn't it? What about the Biblical context? Consider that...
"Jeremiah previously declared the divine prophecy that doomed the Israelites to exile in Babylon for 70 years. The Israelites viewed the prophecy as a hopeless proposition. As a result, they flocked to false prophets, including Hananiah, who prophesied that the exile would end in a shorter period of time. This situation led to Jeremiah's statement at verse 11 of chapter 29. The first part of the verse, "I know the plans I have for you, emphasizes that God had a set idea of what was going to happen to the Israelites in the coming years. Because the plans were set, the Israelites were incorrect to believe that the time of exile would be shortened. However, the second part of the verse, which states that these plans were "for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope," is included to remind the Israelites that the prophecy of exile was not a death sentence. God hoped the Israelites would not lose sight of their pending liberation from Babylon.”
What happened 70 years ago in 1948? - the creation of Israel. Now consider the long history of ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by Israel. Israel, though officially a state since '48, seems to consider itself 'in exile', not having fully 'come into its Kingdom', if you like "the Israelites were incorrect to believe that the time of exile would be shortened", they thought their 'exile' was over upon the declaration of the Israeli state in 1948, but it has taken longer to fully eradicate the Arabs living in the region & reclaim the promised land The chapter that follows Jeremiah 29 is all about God showing Jeremiah the 'return of the Jews' from exile. I believe in a modern context --and given what has been going on in the middle east, the Jerusalem decision aggravating the Arab states... Ultimately providing the justification Israel needs (which is never much, to be fair) to finally defeat much of the middle east nations and create 'Eretz Israel'. The 'return of the Jews' is imminent. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DTilOX5VAAA02Ly.jpg:large Remember the 'Rod & Ring prophecy' - 'the star will gorge itself on clay'. Star = star of David = Israel. Gorge itself on clay = massive land grab = creation of 'Eretz Israel'.
It will happen when the weather cools. That's when they'll make their move. The plans laid long ago, before the founding of America, and older still, will come to fruition. They're trying to force God's hand. Watch for these signs: Three branches will become one. An island will drift away. A killing bolt will shine in the night but will not kill. The star will gorge itself on clay. Idols will speak and move about. The black flag will fly above the dome. The belly of the dragon will drip water. Two voices will call out in a silence that all will hear. A rock will stand on seven hills. The ravens will starve. The bear will leave its cave forever. The rod and the ring will strike.
(As a slight aside: what's everyone's thoughts on the 'rod and ring' itself. I heard many people theorize that it is a reference to components of nuclear arms technologies. I don't believe that. I think it's a reference to genetics, DNA. I just can't work out HOW or WHAT it's going to mean lol. Of Rings and Rods: Regulating Cohesin Entrapment of DNA to Generate Intra- and Intermolecular Tethers - http://journals.plos.org/plosgenetics/article?id=10.1371%2Fjournal.pgen.1006337 Organization and ordered expression of Caulobacter genes encoding flagellar basal body rod and ring proteins - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1474584 Some kind of change to our DNA perhaps? Corey Goode has made numerous claims about future activity from the sun and its effect on DNA. But it could even be something to do with the 'take down' of humanity using ET bio-warfare of some kind?) The very obvious build up to US/Israel/Saudi war against Iran = taking out the last threat to Israeli expansion extant in the middle east. Consider that Israel = a creation of the House of Rothschild = new world order agenda. "...thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." = Ordo ab Chao = Order out of Chaos. Rothschild's = Satanists, yes? Who else = Satanists? See this thread from VictoryoftheLight on Twitter which outlines how the 'Lord God' of Moses in the Old Testament is in fact Satan. https://twitter.com/KibBitzLaw/status/880816932886372352 There's also the documentary Marching to Zion, which studies the biblical texts & makes the case Judaism's 'God' is really Satan/Lucifer https://youtu.be/styLx-iWwC8 There is a common futurist interpretation that the 'mark of the beast' & 666 in the Book of Revelations is a reference to the RFID chips that may be integral to the new world order control system. Then consider this https://www.yahoo.com/news/jared-kushner-apos-company-under-155951278.htmlhttps://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2017-03-29/senators-please-ask-jared-kushner-about-666-fifth-avenuehttp://cosmicconvergence.org/?p=19035 Considering all of the blatant connections to Israeli Zionists surrounding the Trump admin, as well as the middle east foreign policy that is unfolding day by day, the reference to Jeremiah 29:11, in its biblical context, provides little comfort. In fact, I find it startlingly confirms that the Q Anon narrative & its destination, as far as the Trump admin goes, shows massive favoritism to the Israeli Zionist agenda. I now wonder when Q speaks of 'patriots', whether that means patriots to US or patriots to Israel. Again, as Q said, ‘whoever controls the office of the presidency controls this great land’. Also, please consider the consistent use of Alice In Wonderland imagery by Q Anon. Alice in Wonderland is a documented component of MK Ultra mind control. Couple that with the many repeated statements Q makes. Things like the consistent recurrence of ‘future proves past’ – which I think could basically be code for ‘we’re re-writing history, folks’. Consider what happens when Alice 'follows the white rabbit' down the rabbit hole. She falls for some time, passing shelves & cupboards with things on them (Q's 'breadcrumbs'), but what happens at the bottom? Alice must shrink herself in order to fit through the door. Could that 'shrinking' be a metaphor for giving up huge amounts of civil liberties & freedoms? The Zionist new world order will require you a diminishing of human freedom & spirit in order to 'fit through the door'. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DTiuHF7U0AAm-3P.jpg:large I know I'm being paranoid & making a lot out of a little, believe me. But I've studied the Cabal for a few years now. Despite all the hopes of the Q Anon cult, I'm seeing a lot of dismal warning signs, even from Q. We need to question what isn't in the crumbs, not just what is. EDIT: Also, consider that Q has shared proven false information: https://qcodefag.github.io/data/images/12be822f398904a6981d207b31854dbde63481d35a84703030debfbdb2ed3ca8.jpg There's a thread over on CBTS that addresses this.
“The WHOIS information for macklerr.com shows that it was first registered on Oct. 31, 2016 - the same day that the purported email from [email protected] appeared on the Web: http://whois.domaintools.com/macklerr.com In other words, there's no way an email could have been sent from macklerr.com more than 7 months before that (Mar. 19, 2016). This is a strong indication that the email is fake. Doesn't mean Q is fake.”
If we are to believe any of what Q has claimed, we'd surely have to believe their capability is above sharing false information.

Pilgrims deposited their valuables with a local Templar preceptory before embarking, received a document indicating the value of their deposit, then used that document upon arrival in the Holy Land to retrieve their funds in an amount of treasure of equal value. 1200s-1300s During the 13th century bankers from north Italy, collectively known as Lombards, gradually replace the Jews in their traditional role as money-lenders to the rich and powerful. – Florence, Venice and Genoa - The Bardi and Peruzzi Families dominated banking in 14th century Florence, establishing branches in many other parts of Europe 1200 By the time Marco Polo visited China they’d move from coins to paper money, who introduced the concept to Europe. An inscription warned, "All counterfeiters will be decapitated." Before the use of paper, the Chinese used coins that were circular, with a rectangular hole in the middle. Several coins could be strung together on a rope. Merchants in China, if they became rich enough, found that their strings of coins were too heavy to carry around easily. To solve this problem, coins were often left with a trustworthy person, and the merchant was given a slip of paper recording how much money they had with that person. Marco Polo's account of paper money during the Yuan Dynasty is the subject of a chapter of his book, The Travels of Marco Polo, titled "How the Great Kaan Causeth the Bark of Trees, Made Into Something Like Paper, to Pass for Money All Over his Country." 1252 Florin minted in Florence, becomes the hard currency of its day helping Florence thrive economically 1340 Double-entry bookkeeping - The clerk keeping the accounts for the Genoese firm of Massari painstakingly fills in the ledger for the year 1340. 1397 Medici Bank established 1450 Johannes Gutenberg builds the printing press – printed words no longer just for the rich 1455 Paper money disappears from China 1466 Polyalphabetic Cipher 1466 Rotating cipher disks – Vatican – greatest crypto invention in 1000 yrs – the first system to challenge frequency analysis 1466 First known mechanical cipher machine 1472 The oldest bank still in existence founded, Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, headquartered in Siena, Italy 1494 Double-entry bookkeeping system codified by Luca Pacioli 1535 Wampum, a form of currency used by Native Americans, a string of beads made from clamshells, is first document. 1553 Vigenere Cipher 1557 Phillip II of Spain managed to burden his kingdom with so much debt (as the result of several pointless wars) that he caused the world's first national bankruptcy — as well as the world's second, third and fourth, in rapid succession. 1577 Newspaper in Korea 1586 The Babington Plot 1590 Cabinet Noir was established in France. Its mission was to open, read and reseal letters, and great expertise was developed in the restoration of broken seals. In the knowledge that mail was being opened, correspondents began to develop systems to encrypt and decrypt their letters. The breaking of these codes gave birth to modern systematic scientific code breaking. 1600s Promissory banknotes began in London 1600s By the early 17th century banking begins also to exist in its modern sense - as a commercial service for customers rather than kings. – Late 17th century we see cheques slowly gains acceptance The total of the money left on deposit by a bank's customers is a large sum, only a fraction of which is usually required for withdrawals. A proportion of the rest can be lent out at interest, bringing profit to the bank. When the customers later come to realize this hidden value of their unused funds, the bank's profit becomes the difference between the rates of interest paid to depositors and demanded from debtors. The transformation from moneylenders into private banks is a gradual one during the 17th and 18th centuries. In England it is achieved by various families of goldsmiths who early in the period accept money on deposit purely for safe-keeping. Then they begin to lend some of it out. Finally, by the 18th century, they make banking their business in place of their original craft as goldsmiths. 1605 Newspaper in Straussburg c1627 Great Cipher 1637 Wampum is declared as legal tender in the U.S. (where we got the slang word “clams” for money) 1656 Johan Palmstruch establishes the Stockholm Banco 1661 Paper Currency reappears in Europe, soon became common - The goldsmith-bankers of London began to give out the receipts as payable to the bearer of the document rather than the original depositor 1661 Palmstruch issues credit notes which can be exchanged, on presentation to his bank, for a stated number of silver coins 1666 Stockholms Banco, the predecessor to the Central Bank of Sweden issues the first paper money in Europe. Soon went bankrupt for printing too much money. 1667 He issues more notes than his bank can afford to redeem with silver and winds up in disgrace, facing a death penalty (commuted to imprisonment) for fraud. 1668 Bank of Sweden – today the 2nd oldest surviving bank 1694 First Central Bank established in the UK was the first bank to initiate the permanent issue of banknotes Served as model for most modern central banks. The modern banknote rests on the assumption that money is determined by a social and legal consensus. A gold coin's value is simply a reflection of the supply and demand mechanism of a society exchanging goods in a free market, as opposed to stemming from any intrinsic property of the metal. By the late 17th century, this new conceptual outlook helped to stimulate the issue of banknotes. 1700s Throughout the commercially energetic 18th century there are frequent further experiments with bank notes - deriving from a recognized need to expand the currency supply beyond the availability of precious metals. 1710 Physiocracy 1712 First commercial steam engine 1717 Master of the Royal Mint Sir Isaac Newton established a new mint ratio between silver and gold that had the effect of driving silver out of circulation (bimetalism) and putting Britain on a gold standard. 1735 Classical Economics – markets regulate themselves when free of intervention 1744 Mayer Amschel Rothschild, Founder of the Rothschild Banking Empire, is Born in Frankfurt, Germany Mayer Amschel Rothschild extended his banking empire across Europe by carefully placing his five sons in key positions. This banking panic spurred debate for banking reform. JP Morgan and others gathered to create an image of concern and stability in the face of the panic, which eventually led to the formation of the Federal Reserve. The founders of the Federal Reserve pretended like the bankers were opposed to the idea of its formation in order to mislead the public into believing that the Federal Reserve would help to regulate bankers when in fact it really gave even more power to private bankers, but in a less transparent way. 1908 St Mary’s Bank – first credit union in US 1908 JP Morgan Associate and Rockefeller Relative Nelson Aldrich Heads New National Monetary Commission Senate Republican leader, Nelson Aldrich, heads the new National Monetary Commission that was created to study the cause of the banking panic. ''' Bitcoin, trade wars, nuclear war, off-grid living and Ted Kaczynski I saw a post on here earlier asking if the trade war with China is good news for bitcoin. Which got me thinking- would war be good news for bitcoin? What about nuclear war? Expected answer: cashing out your bitcoins would be the last of your problems during nuclear war. Which I agree with. But I have a soft spot in my heart for off-grid lifestyles and an anti-tech revolution as imagined by Ted Kaczynski. His latest book released in 2016 I believe, Anti-Tech Revolution: Why & How (pdf is available free online) was a fascinating read, I read it front to back 3+ times in a row after first coming across it. Kaczynaki takes a look at revolutions throughout history and the social sciences generally (which he rightfully observes is nowhere remotely like the hard sciences) in this book, and one thing he concludes is that human affairs are unpredictable and society cannot be designed and there will sooner or later be catastrophic failure of the industrial technological system we are living in. You know what, how about I paste a snippet here for y’all to digest and share your thoughts about- [link]1 CHAPTER ONE The Development ofa Society Can Never Be Subject to Rational Human Control I. In specific contexts in which abundant empirical evidence is available, fairly reliable short-term prediction and control of a society's behavior may be possible. For example, economists can predict some ofthe immediate consequences for a modern industrial society of a rise or a fall in the interest rates. Hence, by raising or lowering interest rates they can manipulate such variables as the levels ofinflation and ofunemployment.3 Indirect consequences are harder to predict, and prediction of the conse quences of more elaborate financial manipulations is largely guesswork. That's why the economic policies ofthe U.S. government are subject to so much controversy: No one knows for certain what the consequences of those policies really are. Outside of contexts in which abundant empirical evidence is avail able, or when longer-term effects are at issue, successful prediction-and therefore successful management of a society's development-is far more difficult. In fact, failure is the norm. • During the first half of the second century BC, sumptuary laws (laws intended to limit conspicuous consumption) were enacted in an effort to forestall the incipient decadence of Roman society. As is usual with sump tuary laws, these failed to have the desired effect, and the decay of Roman mores continued unchecked.4 By the early first century BC, Rome had become politically unstable. With the help ofsoldiers under his command, Lucius Cornelius Sulla seized control of the city, physically exterminated the opposition, and carried out a comprehensive program ofreform that was intended to restore stable government. But Sulla's intervention only made the situation worse, because he had killed offthe "defenders oflawful government" and had filled the Senate with unscrupulous men "whose tra dition was the opposite ofthat sense ofmission and public service that had animated the best of the aristocracy."5 Consequently the Roman political system continued to unravel, and by the middle of the first century BC Rome's traditional republican government was essentially defunct. • In Italy during the 9th century AD certain kings promulgated laws intended to limit the oppression and exploitation of peasants by the aristocracy. "The laws proved futile, however, and aristocratic landowning and political dominance continued to grow."6 • Simon Bolivar was the principal leader ofthe revolutions through which Spain's American colonies achieved their independence. He had hoped and expected to establish stable and "enlightened" government throughout Spanish America, but he made so little progress toward that objective that he wrote in bitterness shortly before his death in 1830: "He who serves a revolution plows the sea." Bolivar went on to predict that Spanish America would "infallibly fall into the hands ofthe unrestrained multitude to pass afterward to those of. . . petty tyrants of all races and colors . . . [We will be] devoured by all crimes and extinguished by ferocity [so that] the Europeans will not deign to conquer us. . . ."7 Allowing for a good deal of exaggeration attributable to the emotion under which Bolivar wrote, this prediction held (roughly) true for a century and a half after his death. But notice that Bolivar did not arrive at this prediction until too late; and that it was a very general prediction that asserted nothing specific. • In the United States during the late 19th century there were worker-housing projects sponsored by a number ofindividual philan thropists and housing reformers. Their objective was to show that efforts to improve the living conditions ofworkers could be combined with... profits of5 percent annually. ... Reformers believed that the model dwellings would set a stan dard that other landlords would be forced to meet. . . mostly because of the workings of competition. Unfortunately, this solution to the housing problem did not take hold. . . . The great mass ofurban work ers. . . were crowded into. . . tenements that operated solely for profit.8 It is not apparent that there has been any progress over the centuries in the capacity of humans to guide the development of their societies. Relatively recent (post-1950) efforts in this direction may seem superficially to be more sophisticated than those ofearlier times, but they do not appear to be more successful. • The social reform programs ofthe mid-1960s in the United States, spearheaded by President Lyndon Johnson, revealed that beliefs about the causes and cures of such social problems as crime, drug abuse, poverty, and slums had little validity. For example, according to one disappointed reformer: Once upon a time we thought that ifwe could only get our problem families out of those dreadful slums, then papa would stop taking dope, mama would stop chasing around, and junior would stop car rying a knife. Well, we've got them in a nice new apartment with modern kitchens and a recreation center. And they're the same bunch of bastards they always were.9 This doesn't mean that all ofthe reform programs were total fail ures, but the general level of success was so low as to indicate that the reformers did not understand the workings of society well enough to know what should be done to solve the social problems that they addressed. Where they achieved some modest level of success they probably did so mainly through luck. One could go on and on citing examples like the foregoing ones. One could also cite many examples ofefforts to control the development ofsocieties in which the immediate goals ofthe efforts have been achieved. But in such cases the longer-term consequences for society as a whole have not been what the reformers or revolutionaries have expected or desired.11 10 ANTI-TECH REVOLUTION • The legislation of the Athenian statesman Solon (6th century BC) was intended to abolish hektemorage (roughly equivalent to serfdom) in Attica while allowing the aristocracy to retain most of its wealth and privilege. In this respect the legislation was successful. But it also had unexpected consequences that Solon surely would not have approved. The liberationofthe"serfs"resultedinalaborshortagethatledtheAtheniansto purchase or capture numerous slaves from outside Attica, so that Athens was transformed into a slave society. Another indirect consequence of Solon's legislation was the Peisistratid "tyranny" (populist dictatorship) that ruled Athens during a substantial part of the 6th century BC.12 • Otto von Bismarck, one of the most brilliant statesmen in European history, had an impressive list ofsuccesses to his credit. Among other things: -He achieved the unification ofGermany in 1867-1871. -He engineered the Franco-Prussian war of1870-71, but his suc- cessful efforts for peace thereafter earned him the respect of European leaders. -He successfully promoted the industrialization of Germany. -By such means he won for the monarchy the support ofthe middle class. -Thus Bismarck achieved his most important objective: He pre vented (temporarily) the democratization of Germany. -Though Bismarckwas forced to resign in 1890, the political struc ture he had established for Germany lasted until 1918, when it was brought down by the German defeat in World War 1.13 Notwithstanding his remarkable successes Bismarck felt that he had failed, and in 1898 he died an embittered old man.14 Clearly, Germany was not going the way he had intended. Probably it was the resumption of Germany's slow drift toward democratization that angered him most. But his bitterness would have been deeper ifhe had foreseen the future. One can only speculate as to what the history ofGermany might have been after 1890 if Bismarck hadn't led the country up to that date, but it is certain that he did not succeed in putting Germany on a course leading to results ofwhich he would have approved; for Bismarck would have been horrified by the disastrous war of 1914-18, by Germany's defeat in it, and above all by the subsequent rise ofAdolfHitler. • In the United States, reformers' zeal led to the enactment in 1919 of"Prohibition" (prohibition ofthe manufacture, sale, or transportation CHAPTER ONE: PART I 11 of alcoholic beverages) as a constitutional amendment. Prohibition was partly successful in achieving its immediate objective, for it did decrease the alcohol consumption of the "lower" classes and reduce the incidence of alcohol-related diseases and deaths; it moreover "eradicated the saloon." On the other hand, it provided criminal gangs with opportunities to make huge profits through the smuggling and/or the illicit manufacture of alcoholic drinks; thus Prohibition greatly promoted the growth of organized crime. In addition, it tended to corrupt otherwise respectable people who were tempted to purchase the illegal beverages. It became clear that Prohibition was a serious mistake, and it was repealed through another constitutional amendment in 1933.15 • The so-called "Green Revolution" of the latter part of the 20th century-the introduction of new farming technologies and of recently developed, highly productive varieties of grain-was supposed to allevi ate hunger in the Third World by providing more abundant harvests. It did indeed provide more abundant harvests. But: "[A]lthough the 'Green Revolution' seems to have been a success as far as the national total cereal production figures are concerned, a look at it from the perspective of communities and individual humans indicates that the problems have far outweighed the successes... ."16 In some parts of the world the conse quences of the Green Revolution have been nothing short of catastrophic. For example, in the Punjab (a region lying partly in India and partly in Pakistan), the Green Revolution has ruined "thousands of hectares of [for merly] productive land," and has led to severe lowering of the water table, contamination of the water with pesticides and fertilizers, numerous cases of cancer (probably due to the contaminated water), and many suicides. "'The green revolution has brought us only downfall,' says Jarnail Singh... . 'It ruined our soil, our environment, our water table. Used to be we had fairs in villages where people would come together and have fun. Now we gather in medical centers.' "17 From other parts of the world as well come reports of negative con sequences, of varying degrees of severity, that have followed the Green Revolution. These consequences include economic, behavioral, and medical effects in addition to environmental damage (e.g., desertification).18 • In 1953, U.S. President Eisenhower announced an "Atoms for Peace" program according to which the nations of the world were sup posed to pool nuclear information and materials under the auspices of an international agency. In 1957 the International Atomic Energy Agency 12 ANTI-TECH REVOLUTION was established to promote the peaceful uses of atomic energy, and in 1968 the United Nations General Assembly approved a "non-proliferation" treaty under which signatories agreed not to develop nuclear weapons and in return were given nuclear technology that they were supposed to use only for peaceful purposes.19The people involved in this effort should have known enough history to realize that nations generally abide by treaties only as long as they consider it in their own (usually short-term) interest to do so, which commonly is not very long. But apparently the assumption was that the nations receiving nuclear technology would be so grateful, and so happy cooperating in its peaceful application, that they would forever put aside the aspirations for power and the bitter rivalries that throughout history had led to the development of increasingly destructive weapons. This idea seems to have originated with scientists like Robert Oppenheimer and Niels Bohr who had helped to create the first atomic bomb.20 That physicists would come up with something so nai:ve was only to be expected, since specialists in the physical sciences almost always are grossly obtuse about human affairs. It seems surprising, however, that experienced politicians would act upon such an idea. But then, politicians often do things for propaganda purposes and not because they really believe in them. The "Atoms for Peace" idea worked fine-for a while. Some 140 nations signed the non-proliferation treaty in 1968 (others later),21 and nuclear technology was spread around the world. Iran, in the early 1970s, was one of the countries that received nuclear technology from the U.S.22 And the nations receiving such technology didn't t r y t o use i t t o develop nuclear weapons. Not immediately, anyway. Of course, we know what has happened since then. "[H]ard-nosed politicians and diplomats [e.g., Henry Kissinger]...argue that proliferation of nuclear weapons is fast approaching a 'tipping point' beyond which it will be impossible to check their spread." These "veterans of America's cold-war security establishment with impec cable credentials as believers in nuclear deterrence" now claim that such weapons "ha[ve] become a source of intolerable risk."23 And there is the inconvenient fact that the problem of safe disposal of radioactive waste from the peaceful uses of nuclear energy still has not been solved.24 The "Atoms for Peace"fiasco suggests that humans' capacity to con trol the development of their societies not only has failed to progress, but has actually retrogressed. Neither Solon nor Bismarck would have supported anything as stupid as "Atoms for Peace." CHAPTER ONE: PART II 13 II. There are good reasons why humans' capacity to control the development of their societies has failed to progress. In order to control the development of a society you would have to be able to predict how the society would react to any given action you might take, and such predic tions have generally proven to be highly unreliable. Human societies are complex systems-technologically advanced societies are most decidedly complex-and prediction of the behavior of complex systems presents dif ficulties that are not contingent on the present state of our knowledge or our level of technological development. [U]nintended consequences [are] a well-known problem with the design and use of technology... . The cause of many [unintended con sequences] seems clear: The systems involved are complex, involving interaction among and feedback between many parts. Any changes to such a system will cascade in ways that are difficult to predict; this is especially true when human actions are involved.25 Problems in economics can give us some idea of how impossibly difficult it would be to predict or control the behavior of a system as com plex as that of a modern human society. It is convincingly argued that a modern economy can never be rationally planned to maximize efficiency, because the task of carrying out such planning would be too overwhelmingly complex.26 Calculation of a rational system of prices for the U.S. economy alone would require manipulation of a conservatively estimated 6xl013 (sixty trillion!) simultaneous equations.27 That takes into account only the economic factors involved in establishing prices and leaves out the innu merable psychological, sociological, political, etc., factors that continuously interact with the economy. Even if we make the wildly improbable assumption that the behav ior of our society could be predicted through the manipulation of, say, a million trillion simultaneous equations and that sufficient computing power to conduct such manipulation were available, collection of the data necessary for insertion of the appropriate numbers into the equations would be impracticable,28 especially since the data would have to meet impossibly high standards of precision if the predictions were expected to remain valid over any considerable interval of time. Edward Lorenz, a meteo rologist, was the first to call widespread attention to the fact that even the most minute inaccuracy in the data provided can totally invalidate a 14 ANTI-TECH REVOLUTION prediction about the behavior of a complex system. This fact came t o be called the "butterfly effect"because in 1972, at a meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Lorenz gave a talk that he titled "Predictability: Does the Flap of a Butterfly's Wings in Brazil Set Off a Tornado in Texas?"29 Lorenz's work is said to have been the inspiration for the development of what is called "chaos theory"30-the butterfly effect being an example of "chaotic" behavior. Chaotic behavior is not limited to complex systems; in fact, some surprisingly simple systems can behave chaotically.31 The Encyclopaedia Britannica illustrates this with a purely mathematical example. Let A and x0 be any two given numbers with 0 CHAPTER ONE: PART II 15 behavior of a macroscopic system requires data so precise that their accuracy can be disturbed by events at the subatomic level, then no reliable prediction is possible. Hence, for a chaotic physical system, there is a point beyond which the horizon of predictability can never be extended. Of course, the behavior of a human society is not in every respect chaotic; there are empirically observable historical trends that can last for centuries or millennia. But it is wildly improbable that a modern techno logical society could be free of all chaotic subsystems whose behavior is capable of affecting the society as a whole, so it is safe to assume that the development of a modern society is necessarily chaotic in at least some respects and therefore unpredictable. This doesn't mean that no predictions at all are possible. In reference to weather forecasting the Britannica writes: It is highly probable that atmospheric movements... are in a state of chaos. If so, there can be little hope of extending indefinitely the range of weather forecasting except in the most general terms. There are clearly certain features of climate, such as annual cycles of tem perature and rainfall, which are exempt from the ravages of chaos. Other large-scale processes may still allow long-range prediction, but the more detail one asks for in a forecast, the sooner it will lose its validity.34 Much the same can be said of the behavior of human society (though human society is far more complex even than the weather). In some con texts, reasonably reliable and specific short-term predictions can be made, as we noted above in reference to the relationship between interest rates, inflation, and unemployment. Long-term predictions of an imprecise and nonspecific character are often possible; we've already mentioned Bolivar's correct prediction of the failure of stable and "enlightened " government in Spanish America. (Here it is well to note that predictions that something will not work can generally be made with greater confidence than predic tions that something willwork.35) But reliable long-term predictions that are at all specific can seldom be made. There are exceptions. Moore's Law makes a specific prediction about the rate of growth of computing power, and as of 2012 the law has held true for some fifty years.36 But Moore's Law is not an inference derived from an understanding of society, it is simply a description of an empirically 16 ANTI-TECH REVOLUTION observed trend, and no one knows how long the trend will continue. The law may have predictable consequences for many areas of technology, but no one knows in any specific way how all this technology will interact with society as a whole. Though Moore's Law and other empirically observed trends may play a useful role in attempts to foresee the future, it remains true that any effort to understand the development of our society must (to borrow the Britannica's phrases) "remain a tentative process... with frequent recourse to observation and experiment... ." But just in case someone declines to assume that our society includes any important chaotic components, let's suppose for the sake of argument that the development of society could in principle be predicted through the solution of some stupendous system of simultaneous equations and that the necessary numerical data at the required level of precision could actually be collected. No one will claim that the computing power required to solve such a system of equations is currently available. But let's assume that the unimaginably vast computing power predicted by Ray Kurzweil37 will become a reality for some future society, and let's suppose that such a quantity of computing power would be capable of handling the enormous complexity ofthe present society and predicting its development over some substantial interval of time. It does not follow that a future society of that kind would have sufficient computing power to predict its own develop ment, for such a society necessarily would be incomparably more complex than the present one: The complexity of a society will grow right along with its computing power, because the society's computational devices are part of the society. I think the Berlin Wall Principle will end up applying to Blockstream as well: (1) The Berlin Wall took *longer* than everyone expected to come tumbling down. (2) When it did finally come tumbling down, it happened *faster* than anyone expected (ie, in a matter of days) - and everyone was shocked.
Centralization is a double-edged sword. So far, centralization (and intertia, and laziness, and caution) has been favoring Blockstream. But if and when a congestion crisis comes, then the tide is gonna turn pretty quickly - and Blockstream's monopoly in terms of "code running on the network" is gonna evaporate quicker than anyone expected. How will this happen? Like this: Bitcoin is going to go into a crisis - not just the current agonizing slow-motion swamp of centralized fascist governance, but a real-time honking red alert involving a clogged-up network, with people freaking out screaming from the rooftops that millions of dollars in transactions are in limbo due to some pointless fucked-up 1 MB "blocksize limit". And at that point, people are going to get rid of the damn piece of broken cripple-code, immediately. End of story. Slow to crumble, fast to collapse Up till now, the Bitcoin governance crisis has been like slowly sinking into a swamp of quicksand. But once a real-time congestion crisis actually hits (and online forums become dominated by posts screaming "my transaction is stuck in limbo!!!"), then all the previous bullshit and bloviating from economic idiots about "fee markets" and "soft hard forks" or whatever other nonsense will be instantly forgotten. And at that point, there will be only 2 things that can happen:
Either Bitcoin dies, and $7 billion dollars in investor wealth evaporates into thin air; or
The simplest and safest "good enough" on-chain scaling upgrade gets rolled out ASAP - ie, we will get bigger blocks so fast it will make your head spin.
You don't need Blockstream - they need you When push comes to shove, people are going to remember pretty damn quick that open-source code is easy to patch. People are going to remember that you don't have to fly to meetings in Hong Kong or on some secret Caribbean island ... or post on Reddit for hours ... or spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on devs ... in order to simply change a constant in your code from 1000000 to 2000000. Eventually, we are going to remember what vote-with-your-CPU consensus looks like Remember all those hours you wasted on reddit? Remember all that time you wasted in some hidden downvoted sub-thread debating with some snarky little toxic troll who'd wandered over from a censored Milgram experiment forum full of brainwashed circlejerkers and foot-stomping fascists whose only adrenaline rush and power trip in life had evidently been when they would run around bloviating gibberish like "fee markets!" or "Austrian!" to the self-selected bunch of ignorant submissive sycophants who hadn't been banned from r\bitcoin yet? Well, when the real crisis hits, all that trivial online drama isn't going to matter any more. When the inevitable congestion crisis finally comes, it's only going to take a couple of mining pools plus a couple of exchanges to make a simple life-or-death business decision to un-install Blockstream's artificially crippled code and instead install code that has actually been upgraded to deal with the reality of mining and the marketplace - and then we're all going to see what actual vote-with-your-CPU consensus really looks like (instead of vote-with-your-sockpuppet pseudo-consensus on Reddit). This upgraded code could be Classic, or Unlimited, or even a modded version Core - it doesn't really matter. Code is code and money is money, and when push comes to shove, investors and miners aren't going to give a damn what some overpaid economic idiot from Blockstream said at some meeting in Hong Kong once, or what some fascist poisonous astroturfing shill-bot posted a million times on Reddit. Things usually move slow in Bitcoin-land - except when they move fast For an example of how fast the tide can turn, just look at a couple of major events from the past two days: (1) Coinbase is suddenly saying that:
Bitcoin looks a lot like hard-to-use antiquated assembly code - and Ethereum looks like an easy-to-use modern programming language;
Blockstream with its toxic, opaque and oppressive culture is scaring away all the new devs - who are flocking to alt-coins like Ethereum which has a healthy, transparent and welcoming culture.
Of course the good devs are flocking to Ethereum now. Any smart dev can see from a mile away that it would be suicide to try to contribute to Core/Blockstream - Blockstream don't want any new coders or new ideas, they are insular and insecure and they feel downright threatened by new coders with fresh ideas. They've shown this over and over again, eg:
when they repeatedly freaked out and went nuclear and refused to compromise whenever any dev made a simple safe scaling proposal, like 20 MB blocks, or 8 MB blocks, or 4 MB blocks, or 2 MB blocks, or Adaptive Blocks, etc etc.
scaring all the good devs and a lot of investors into alt-coins.
Blockstream has backed themselves into a corner At this point, people are starting to realize that Blockstream is a led by desperate and incompetent dead-enders. (There are some great coders over there such as Pieter Wuille - and Greg Maxwell is also a great Bitcoin coder, but he is toxic as a "leader".) Blockstream can't do capacity planning, they can't do threat assessment, they can't innovate, they can't prioritize, and they can't communicate. In the end, they're only destroying themselves - by censoring debate, and ostracizing existing innovators (eg, Mike Hearn and Gavin Andresen) - and scaring away potential new innovators. Remember, Blockstream != Bitcoin It's important to remember that Blockstream cannot destroy Bitcoin - any more than Mt Gox could. Once Blockstream is thoroughly discredited in the eyes of the Bitcoin community and the media, as "the company that almost strangled the Bitcoin network by trying to force blocks to be smaller than the average web page" - it's gonna be time for honey-badger jokes all over again. Blockstream's gargantuan conflicts-of-interest will be their downfall Blockstream is funded by insurance giant AXA - a company whose CEO is the head of the friggin' Bilderberg Group. (He's scheduled to move from CEO of AXA to CEO of HSBC soon. Out of the frying pan and into the fire.) AXA doesn't even want cryptocurrency to succeed anyways, because half of the 1 trillion dollars of so-called "assets" on their fraudulent balance sheet is actually nothing more than toxic debt-backed worthless derivatives garbage. (AXA has more derivatives than any other insurance company.) In other words, AXA's balance sheet will be exposed as worthless and the company will become insolvent (just like Lehman Brothers and AIG did in 2008) once real money like Bitcoin actually becomes dominant in the world economy - which will "uber" and knock down the whole teetering $1.2 quadrillion derivatives casino. Hmm... AIG... a giant insurance group whose alleged "assets" turned out to be just a worthless pile of toxic debt-backed derivatives on the legacy ledger of fantasy fiat, AIG who triggered the 2008 financial near-meltdown... Who does AIG remind me of... Oh yeah AXA... So let's put AXA in charge of paying for Bitcoin development! What could possibly go wrong?!? Blockstream's owners HATE Bitcoin Never forget:
This is the probably the most gigantic CONFLICT OF INTEREST in the history of economics. And it's something to think about, as we sit here wondering for years why Blockstream is not only failing to scale Bitcoin - but it's also actively trying to SABOTAGE anyone ELSE who tries to scale Bitcoin as well. So, be patient - and optimistic Viewed from one perspective, the fact that this blocksize battle has dragged on for years can be very depressing. But, viewed from another perspective, the fact that it's still going on is positive - because, for example, nobody really dares to say anymore that "blocks should be 1 MB" - since repeated studies have shown that the current hardware and infrastructure could easily handle 3-4 MB blocks, and Core/Blockstream's own precious SegWit soft-fork is going to need 3-4 MB blocks anyways. Plus, the only "strengths" that Blockstream had on its side actually turn out to be pretty weak upon closer scrutiny (money from investors like AXA who hate cryptocurrency, censorship from domain squatters who only know how to destroy communities, snark from sockpuppets who can't argue their way out of a wet paper bag on uncensored forums). In fact, if you were part of Blockstream, you'd be pretty demoralized that a rag-tag bunch of big-blocks supporters has been chipping away at you for the past few years, creating new forums, creating new coins, creating new products and services, exposing the economic ignorance of small-block dead-enders - and all the while, Blockstream hasn't been able to deliver on any of its so-called scaling roadmap. If it hadn't been for a few historical accidents (cheap energy behind the Great Firewall of China, plus the other "linguistic" firewall that has prevented many people in the Chinese-speaking community from seeing how much of the community actually rejects Blockstream, plus the other accidental fact that bigger blocks involve generalizing Bitcoin, which mathematically happens to require a hard fork), then Blockstream would not have been able to control Bitcoin development as long as it has. Yeah, they have done routine maintenance stuff and efficiency upgrades, like rewriting libsecp256k, which is great, and much appreciated - and Pieter Wuille's SegWit would be a great refactoring and clean-up of the code (if we don't let Luke-Jr poison it by packaging it as a soft-fork) - but the network also needs some simple, safe scaling. And the network is going to get simple, safe scaling - whenever it decides that it really, really wants it. And there's nothing that Blockstream can do to block that.
Link to Part 1 Link to Part 2 Mortaren’s appointment had left a slim window through which to prep. As a freelancer, I was free to travel across the country or the world for a story, so time off from work wasn’t an issue that vexed me. I opted to fly to Denver then drive I-25 to Walsenburg - a city to the east of the San Luis Valley and a spot my travels made familiar over the years. By week’s end, after a numbing but uneventful commute, I reached the comfort of my hotel days in advance - I wanted that buffer to breathe and to reconnoiter the site of our meeting. The coordinates pointed to a site too remote for satellites to remap every year. Neither Google nor Bing ever sent cars there to photograph the area. The drive through US-350 was monotonous - mile after mile of farmland parched a uniform yellow. The only excitement, if such were the word, came from the prompts the GPS indicated which eventually took me onto a gravel road. The route crossed a railroad. To my right was a farm. To my left was the overlook - a weathered and wizened hump of earth a geologist told me had been the remnants of a butte millions and millions of years prior. It stood by itself amid seas of grassy plains. A road lurched onto its peak; there the earth had been pressed into a level (and empty) lot. It felt like the safest place to stop, (hopefully), out of sight and out of mind. My rented Wrangler was the sole vehicle at the overlook. For a while I gazed westward. The sky was a vibrant shade of blue that smothered the distance. Across its haze I caught outlines of the Spanish Peaks. I let my eyes wander southward, toward that spot at the horizon where US-350 vanished into a point. I couldn’t see a car anywhere coming or going. A train roared as it approached from the side of the highway. Eastward and below - at what I gauged may have been a spur of the historical Santa Fe trail, I noted the ruins that had drawn me onto that spot. It had escaped my eyes when I drove by it and then, then I realized why. It was at the top of the overlook that the effect was appreciable. The ruins, through the years, had been smothered to its roof by an orchard of junipers. The ruin was that of a two-story house which had been built partially into the ground. I gawked at the style of it for it appeared so out of time, so out of place when compared to the architecture typical of the area around La Junta. The closest match was Spanish Colonial. The eeriest aspect of it was that in spite of the juniper’s swallowing it, it didn’t look like it had been abandoned for any lengthy period of time. I approached the door - a slab of wood impressively resilient to weather - and stuck my head into the shadow beyond its yawning threshold. Its walls were tagged with an eclectic mixture of symbology, some of it Satanic, some of it native. Others defied my erudition. As I grew bold enough to enter, my advance was stopped by a voice. “Yeah, figured you’d check it out.” “Mortaren?” I turned to face the orchard, whose miasma cloaked the figure. “Wanted to see it for myself. Doesn’t strike me as a place to stash a server.” “Exactly.” Mortaren, my erstwhile host, stepped out of the enshadowment and joined my stance at the door’s threshold. I sensed by the immediate familiarity he conveyed to the structure that he wasn’t a stranger to its curiosity. I followed into the abode and almost immediately choked at a waft of putrefaction - urine and feces from sources unknown. Squatters - or worse - I started to suspect may have sought the refuge of its confines. Still, Mortaren was not concerned. Nor was he curious about the freshly-minted tools strewn about the rubble. Gear that I recognized from my years of hiking had been folded into the mess as if to disguise it. I detected, too, the odor of gasoline - faintly and sublimely - as if it were a suggestion stirred by the train that passed by. “It hasn’t been a residence since the seventies.” “Well if that’s so, it’s a mix-up.” “No! Little of the sort, bub, this,” he said of it, swinging a finger around his head toward the upstairs, “this is the spot. Everything that happened, happened here. All of that was filmed where we stand. ZuZu or whomever they worked for, they chose this site not for the way it looked outside but inside. Then ZuZu embedded those clips of it into the code.” “Is it booby trapped?” “In a manner of speaking.” We worked past the foyer and the library that followed it. We walked: Mortaren at the front and I at the back. Could it be doubted anymore? My host splayed intimate knowledge of the abode which could have come only from a personal investigation. How many times had he stopped by? Perhaps he more than stopped by? Perhaps he more than investigated. We entered a wide, tall hallway and paused. The chamber was pitch except for a window at the apex of the stairs which blasted a square-shaped spotlight onto the floor at our feet. Behind us the hallway emptied into a kitchen. Light that filtered through its windows lent it a vibrant, green glow. A glow that came from the vegetation clogging that chamber. I noted flickering, whistling lights like fluorescents out of view but not of earshot. Mortaren refused my help to unroll a tarp; “touch nothing, nothing - don’t leave a print anywhere, kiddo, you gotta trust me, OK”. He revealed a set of tools: pliers, machetes, rakes, and a crowbar. My host took the crowbar and aimed it at the stairs. “Let me give you a word of warning - if you insist you want that game - alright more, more than a word. Yes - I got it. And I’m far from the only sucker, let me say. I suggest, whatever you do, you don’t ever install it, you don’t ever play it, you don’t even stick it into a drive that autoplays, OK?” We ascended; the stairs were droopy and I struggled to stay upright. “Not saying that ‘cause of what it’ll do to your rig - you know what it’ll do, I don’t need to tell you what it’ll do. It’s the sort of stuff that’ll bring the FBI to your door faster than you can say Blue Beelzebub. No, damn it, it’s how that abomination tears into your soul. It’ll compromise you and that’s intentional not accidental. It wants to beat you into submission. The fear - that you’ll be found, that you’ll be trapped - imagine every day, every day thinking ‘today’s the day it happens’. It took a year to convince the FBI I didn’t know what that game was about and then it was too late to save my arse.” Upstairs, my host drew my steps into a chamber whose walls were a faded memory of yellow. Cracks formed like veins running the heights of the walls. The reek of corruption, like that of decay, attacked us fiercely. A hum issued out of the air; it was strongest at the center where the rug that cloaked the floor bulged. Mortaren applied a streak of coroner’s salve to his upper lip. I added a dab to my face. My host insisted I should be thorough; so I complied. The chamber was a formal salon, a pit of “opulence and decadence” for the 70s. Furniture lay scattered to rot. An armoire, as tall as the salon, waited at the far end with its doors wide, agape almost like arms outstretched to greet us. It, like the rest of the furniture, soaked the elements and charred into onyx as if burned. Slowly my eyes accustomed to the ambiance and as such I grew cognizant of a trove of esoteric details. Books strewn about. Mounds of salt. Blobs of candles. Pentagrams. All of that competed head-to-head with the scratches etched into the walls. I found a fingernail embedded into those scratches.... “After I posted the demo, a fan - let’s say they were a fan - contacted my office about it. They offered assistance and I, reluctantly out of curiosity - I complied. I sent them copies of the game. That was my downfall, kiddo.” He stopped to take a breath. “Imagine it. The stuff of nightmares that destroys a man’s life fits so perfectly into a pair of three point five inch floppies. Well, that fan reverse-engineered the executable. Dude sent everything right back to my house with a stack of paper. Never heard of them again. I assumed they were the first to contact the FBI. Can’t blame ‘em.” Mortaren pointed to the rug that spanned the floor. “Is that hum under the floor?” I asked - he nodded. “The sound isn’t from the server, though.” Mortaren lifted the corner of the rug with the crowbar. We cleared the furniture and rolled away the carpet. It decomposed into rubble just by touching it as we did. “It’s a crazy layout. The house was built over a shaft. This room it’s, it’s right over that shaft. The hum comes from the way air works through it.” “So ... the server is real and it’s here?” My host nodded; “The game’s cloak and dagger - a virus that turns your rig into a zombie. You work for them, now, now, you’re part of something worse than anything you imagine. The events that created this mess, this wreck that you see - it was filmed right where we stand. ZuZu transferred the footage to AVI clips and used it to create the maze’s layout and texture. My fan, when they broke apart the game, they found the clips embedded right into the code and I had to watch ‘em, didn’t I? I had to watch ‘em. Look, it’s not over, OK. The ritual they started, it doesn’t end, it doesn’t, ever, end.” I dared not ask what kind of ritual it was. The gaze of his eyes as they relived the video spoke volumes. His whole entire body shook as if the violation were fresh. “I tell you the strangest part of this business. The people who started it, they’re a crazy kooky sex cult out of NAZI Germany. Yeah, they used Crawley’s sex-magik. They never touched kids, though. It wasn’t about the Cheese Pizza for ‘em. But the Chinese Sandwich wasn’t any better.” We walked into the center of the salon, to a spot where the rug had bulged. Removed, we saw what it was. A circle had been drilled into the wood and plugged by plate like a manhole. Mortaren lodged the crowbar into the crack at the circumference of the plate. “You’ll never get it until you see it from their perspective. Twisted as it is. You gotta see it through their eyes. The game exists to re-create the ritual - to recreate the ritual and make you part of it. Simply by watching it, by playing it, you get tainted and that by itself makes you part of it. Damn it.” He tapped the crowbar to the plate that refused to budge. “Haven’t I tried? It’s not enough, is it? Am I too old, at the end? The server.... It’s at the end of the shaft, a hundred feet below. I donno how it’s powered. Maybe it’s geothermal? I donno. It’s there, idling, watching and waiting for a signal to awaken. It’s what sustains the game and the spreads the ritual. It’s the heart of the beast.” ### Cheese Pizza and Chinese Sandwich, to those not aware of 4CHAN and its vernacular, is code for ‘Child Pornography’ and ‘Child Snuff’, respectively. ZuZu and LVN used the dog-whistles of their day to advertize the game to a certain clientele. But the cult that bankrolled Blue Beelzebub abhorred the former as it embraced the latter. And the game itself contained tedious 90s shock - glimpses of death and its like - it never showed the goods, so to speak. The CD contained the augmented DOS the game installed as well as a thorough, documented unraveling of the game itself. Mortaren’s fan discovered and saved BMPs and AVIs that had been embedded into the code. I slipped that CD into a drive and scanned its contents with my virus and malware checkers. Not a single program detected a problem. Given the sizes of the files, though, I found it disconcerting that my checkers took minutes to complete. Mortaren’s fan had placed their deconstruction of the game’s executable into a ZIP folder. The majority of it consisted of code that they converted from binary to ML to C. It was fascinating to gawk as the code which appeared so professional. Yet, as C was not a strength of mine, I found it vague and cryptic overall. I dug into the multi-media directory and extracted images and clips that had been stored there. Saved to my laptop, I selected the largest AVI and played it. That film, whose sights and sounds were equally vivid and jittery, oozed the impression of an 8 mm production. It had been subbed in German and I (mostly) followed it. Mortaren got it right - the clip had been filmed at the house by US-350, specifically, at its salon. I paused to check the layout and compare it to my notes of how I found the furniture and the other, macabre ancillary. Amazingly, decades after the fact, everything matched. ### The clip itself comprised a continuous stream formed of what had to have been a sequence of shorter segments: 1irst Segment:
At a couch sit three women - an older, frailer matron flanked by younger versions of herself. They chat with the cameraman (I assume).
The matron walks out of the frame and the cameraman pans to the opposite side of the salon where a man approaches the couch. The man is dressed in a style similar to that of Crowley’s regalia - decked head to toe with shades of violet and onyx. The magik-man approaches the couch with the women and offers them leis that they take and wear.
The matron reappears, followed by a pair of Amazonian-like natives - they were naked but their bodies were painted. The lei’ed women at the couch rise as the matron introduces them to the natives. It’s at that juncture that the cameraman reveals the women, too, have been painted. Neither men’s or women’s paints are native-like; rather, the runes are straight out of Thelema.
The magik-man sits at the rug between a pair of circumscribed pentagrams. The magik-man lights a roll of sage (?) - the lack definition masks the identity of the object. Smoke billows out of it as he waves it over the pentagrams. The matron sets lights and sets six candles - three to the left and three to the right of the magik-man.
The cameraman drifts down and to the left, down and to the left, down and to the left, to reveal the orgy. Painted men and women are paired and writhe about the pentagrams. The males lay with their backs to the floor and their heads crowned by the candles. The females lay atop the males. Their limbs intertwine. Their bodies contort. All to the rhythm of the magik-man beats into a drum.
The matron, naked and painted, sits in front of the magik-man and extends a chalice.
The magik-man pours the content of the chalice onto a loaf of bread. The cameraman zooms into that bread - it is shaped like a baby. At that instant the hands of the males and the females, their paint smeared and mingled post-orgy, reach onto the bread and yank it into four-quarters. They eat the bread.
The magik and camera men remain at the salon; it’s night, it’s lit by torches. They peel away the rug and reveal a circular portal into a shaft. For a while the magik-man speaks to the cameraman. Subtitles state: “we consecrate the well - are you ready to see it again - to see it as it is enlivened by the spirit of [REDACTED] spurred by the ritual - are you ready - do you think you are ready”, then, “it looks like a hundred feet”, then, “as if a hundred feet were enough”.
The bulk of the video consists of the exploration of the mine at the base of the shaft. The magik-man takes turns, sometimes leading, sometimes lagging, always speaking although the German is not translated throughout this segment. The pair reaches a part of the maze that collapsed. Although their posture is merely suggested by the aim of the camera, the pause and the silence that follows indicate that they are not ready for the obstacle and so struggle to clear a way through it. The viewer notes by the appearance of their hand that the cameraman is at last captured by their own footage. The pair works through the collapse and discovers a vast, circular chamber. The chamber is lit, awash by an eerie, hazy blue light. A crack crazes across the chamber. The light filters through that crack. The cameraman savors the chamber - it’s adorned like the salon; it’s a site where the cult practices its rituals. The cameraman sweeps toward the crack, prompted by a sound that startles the magik-man. The cameraman zooms into the crack - it’s like a well, filled to the brim with water. It’s almost like an abyss, it sinks on and on hundreds if not thousands of feet; the limitations imposed by the film and the pixilation cannot do the reality any justice. The water is upsettingly transparent through and through - and straight into the blur of light at whereever its bottom lay. As the magik-man speaks off-screen and the cameraman continues their zoom, it’s apparent that there are things, things of a sort not floating but swimming through the water. I scream as the view jostles - it is not a jump or a cut, though, it is the cameraman’s shake. Whoever it is that films that site, they had been startled by movement elsewhere. As the camera’s view twists to the side, it pans by where the magik-man stands and captures a glimpse, just, a glimpse of something that had been standing at the other side of the chasm right as it jumps into the water.
### The house off US-350 loomed abandoned in appearance only. Nobody occupied it since the 70s; however, it was not derelict. County records verified that its owners - Ache Industrias, SA - paid its taxes year after year. Ache Industrias, named for a tribe of South American natives, was a company from Paraguay famous for its advances (and patents) re: GMOs. They were a partner to Monsanto but not as known outside of agriculture. Ache Industrias owned that house and the farms that engulfed it; a total of 500 acres. BM: “Word is that the company wants to use this land for research. “A lobby out of Denver, that represents a lot of cattlemen, filed a lawsuit working its way into the Supreme Court at this rate.” Farmers and ranchers who would be, effectively, neighbors, sharing their grazing rights of the nearby Comanche Grasslands objected to the idea, fearing the consequences to their business if their livestock mixed with the GMO livestock. “Meanwhile the acreage isn’t dormant; it’s rented and reaps a lot of profit from royalties.” Ache Industrias wasn’t the first owners, or, as it should be stated, wasn’t the first incarnation of the first owners. BM: “An occultist, Straniak, was its proprietor of record according to my contacts from Brazil.” Straniak, in partnership with two other expatriated Germans, formed a company c. 1930 then known as Straniak-West. Although the exact nature of Straniak-West wasn’t advertised, it’s suspected that they profited from the Chaco War and the partners became wealthy in spite of the Great Depression (which had been a world-wide phenomenon). As Europe verged into WWII, Straniak-West changed its moniker to Ache Industrias c. 1940. Around the tail end of 1941 the partners bought a thousand acres around the La Junta area; about half of the original estate was shed through the years. BM: “Straniak and cohorts summered at their Colorado estate. Right up until they started to rent the land, the house had been the estates only, permanent structure. They used its solitude to mask their rituals.” The cult / company was especially fond of that house and guarded its secrets. Mortaren, as an aficionado of the occult, a passion that spurred him to review games of that genre, became aware of Aleister Crowley and the Thules, chieftains of bizarro early 20th mysticism, strands of which wormed their way into the works of Lovecraft, Blackwood, and a slew of other writers. Straniak, and allies, German mystics intimately linked to the Thules, “a society with their own weird take on Aryanism” whose forays into sex-magik, blood-magik, and sacrifices made them too extreme even for the NAZIs. “He fled to South America before Hitler, if you believe that sort of stuff.” The house wasn’t built by Straniak and Co, though. It already existed by the time they hired a crew to survey their property c. 1933. That area of Colorado had see-sawed between Spain and France before it was ceded to the US after the Mexican-American. Records from two centuries ago were hard to come by. Historians were reduced to combing through diaries and correspondences, however, the ephemera revealed a portion of history that otherwise had been lost. The house used to be part of a hacienda granted to a patron of great wealth. Disagreements arose re: their identity as the sources used to piecemeal the history were themselves uncertain if the figure was American / English or French. Nevertheless, they built an extensive estate c. 1792. The house used to be larger; an earthquake c. 1820 reduced it more or less to the dimensions that Straniak & Co. found it. What probably enticed the occultist crew was what legends claimed had been revealed after the earthquake. Namely - that the house had been erected over a mine from prehistory. The earthquake, as it leveled the house, revealed a shaft into that mine – which so happened to contain gold. Tthe patron used its revenue to rebuild the house - albeit to modest proportions - with the novelty that the house hid or capped the entrance into the mine. BM: “The cavity underfoot itself isn’t the end-all and be-all. The cult was attracted to something else, something else not connected to wealth. Is it a portal into another realm? I donno what but it called to them and they poured resources into it. “They recorded all of their rituals; the climax of which, which became Blue Beelzebub, if my timeline’s correct, matches an earthquake in 1983. It wasn’t much of an earthquake but it explains part of the video. It ripped a gash through the system. The server’s got to be inside that chasm, drawing power from geothermal. A system designed to work for ages without intervention while their poison spreads through the internet. Ah, but it won’t be there for long, I promise you.” Night cloaked the house as we descended its rickety, tilted staircase. It felt as if the structure somehow, someway gained a sort of sentience after decades of mysticism echoed through its confines. I fancied it understood Mortaren’s intentions and shook at the foreknowledge. If it goes, won’t that destroy the evidence? What about the crimes they committed? Won’t they go unpunished? BM: “Altruism, don’t deny it, kiddo.” My erstwhile host was adamant about their business and refuted my pleas to reason otherwise. By destroying the house, they claimed, they would be saving lives, lives yet to be taken. BM: “Kiddo, you’re talking about people, people who will never be punished never, never, never be punished for anything. Blue Beelzebub, it’s just the tip of the tip of the iceberg. And you know it. It’s always like that. They regroup and reorganize. But they took me down. And I’m gonna take this much, this much if anything away from them. Mark my words, they’ll imagine another way to entrap kids and spread their filth. And that’s where you and those like you continue what I start tonight.” ### A stark midnight moon loomed to the south west over the jagged peaks of the Sangre De Cristos. There wasn’t a cloud to mar the sky. Crisp, summery wind stirred a floral scent about the air, then it faded, driven away to the ether by a tide of gasoline then of a char / smoke. I drove by the orchard where I noted how the orange escaped the house. It almost looked like a face, a skeletal face, buried into the junipers. I waved. Maybe the gesture was or wasn’t returned. I didn’t stay. That was the last I saw of Bobby Mortaren. I dismantled the laptops’ HDDs; I scraped the platters then I applied a welder’s torch to them, fusing them, melting them, obliterating any trace what so ever of the data they contained. Later I shredded the floppies and the CD and the papers. For all I knew those may have been the last, extant copies of Blue Beelzebub. My paying job resumed its malaise although I noted that my contacts with the FBI waned. Then my editors shuffled my workload. Cases I had been assigned to were re-directed elsewhere. Leads dried. I was shunned more and more. I could not help but recognize a familiarity to the pattern - to the way I was being isolated and overshadowed. I tried to squash the paranoia that may have transferred to me as I entertained the notion of starting yet another career. Little had been reported about the explosion south of Timpas that night. I eked out a single article about the decline and fall of bitcoin. After that I put my thoughts together to form this record of my dealings with Blue Beelzebub. Partly to settle the history of it - as much of it as I understood. Partly to form a defense. I wanted to be transparent; there’s such scant cover for journalists nowadays. Earlier I received a call from a woman, a former FBI agent who claimed they owed me a favor. They warned that “I had been flagged by an anti-virus software vendor that works with the government”. Apparently, the anti-virus / malware scan had detected a rare item and reported it to the vendor’s server for analysis. That’s how the NSA discovered “the executable” with “embedded content” that “raised eyebrows”. It wasn’t just the government that started to investigate Blue Beelzebub, they continued, “a third party, a cryptic South American outfit”, long suspected of trafficking and exploiting minors, “sparked a lot of chatter across the deep-web about you. You got enemies, son, lots and lots of enemies.” I didn’t know of any FBI agent, current and / or former who “owed me a favor”. I stated that in fact I had received a couple of floppies from a source familiar with the game. Naturally, I scanned the media. “I couldn’t get the program to work properly. It needs DOS and there aren’t too many PCs like it anymore. I destroyed all of that ‘cause it gave me the creeps.” It wasn’t entirely a lie.
