This is a subreddit for discussion of forking Bitcoin to allow a free-market and consent-based approach to Bitcoin's / Bitcoin Cash's progress. In Bitcoin Cash we brought together like minded people - users, developers, miners - to carry on the experiment that is Bitcoin. We stand ready to fork again should it become necessary to protect Bitcoin to ensure the option of peer-to-peer electronic cash can survive and thrive.
So, long story short. I am looking at a long term Bitcoin investment. I know Bitcoin is pretty much unregulated currency and that it might not fall under protection schemes up to 100k euro etc. I heard that Coinbase is a good place to buy and store bitcoin. Would anyone on here have any reccomendation/opinions/experience?
Remember that the Federal Reserve loots the American people every single day through masterful mis-education and slight of hand. This kind of looting is considered A-OK. Opt-out of the madness. Buy Bitcoin, so you don’t have to loot convenient stores to get ahead.
The Fed’s looting is based in cowardice, mis-education, and deceit, but the media says “no problem here, move along now.” The People’s looting is based in desperation, risk-taking, and even courage to risk one’s own safety and do whatever it takes to get ahead/survive, but the media condemns the People looting as barbaric and never asks why the People have to resort to stealing. Just Buy Bitcoin, so that you can take back control of your time aka your life.
Hello, I am using Coinbase, which allows you to buy, sell and store digital currency (such as Bitcoins) easily and securely. Register now and get $ 10 worth of free Bitcoins by buying or selling at least $ 100 worth of digital currency
In the US, you can now buy Bitcoin at (many? most? all?) CVS and Walgreens (Rite Aid) stores, using the LibertyX app.
(Note: there is currently a waiting list to be able to use this new option.) I haven't used LibertyX in a while, since the stores I used to go to to buy Bitcoin raised their fees (they started at 3% but went up to 8%, in addition to exchange rate inflation), but I went to look at something on their website and it showed a new location near me, which was the Walgreens store. You do have to do the whole KYC thing for this (as opposed to just having a verified phone number, if you just want to use the website to place the order), but this is pretty useful for adoption for regular folks. I mean, even old people go to drug stores. I'll make sure to ask about buying Bitcoin next time I go in to buy my toilet paper, even if I'm not going to actually buy my Bitcoin that way (I don't want to do the KYC for them, since I'm already using CashApp and had to do it there). It's good to at least increase awareness. More info: https://libertyx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360045272771-About-Chain-Retailers
